The AKA AKAdemy provides a structured and holistic youth development program designed to assist youth and adolescents to enhance their vision and perspective of society while providing positive mentoring in pursuit of school success and a healthy, productive and sustainable productive community.
Youth are viewed as a valued and respected asset to society
Programs are focused on the developmental needs of adolescents
Youth are viewed as partners in planning and program implementation
Activities are designed to enhance the youth’s competence, connections, character, confidence and contribution to society
Activities provide a safe environment to develop positive social values and norms

The AKAdemy Application
Applications are accepted year round however, enrollment occurs April through June for the following year.
There is limited space and participants are accepted on a first-come/first-served basis.

This program is funded by the Pinellas County Juvenile Welfare Board and the Youth Development Foundation of Pinellas County, Inc. We have partnered with the men of the Eta Rho chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. who mentor the Pathfinders.
